Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley, born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976, is among the greatest and most rich Reggae artists. He sang in Shottas along with another artist Wyclef. Ky-Mani released his debut album, Like Father Like Son in 1996. The album was followed by Dear Dad", which hit the top spot in the British reggae charts. Ky-Mani, as well as Praswell as well as Fugees (as part of Avenue) has a cult song by Eddy Grant called Electric Avenue was released in the year 1997. Marley was the first artist to perform at Midem a world-class music showcase held in Miami. Marley's performance on stage at Cameo Theatre was broadcast live across 36 countries via Caribbean News Agency. Marley was engaged in a bidding war. He joined Gee Street/V2 Records where in 1997 he worked with P.M. Dawn on the single Gotta To Movin On up. He is the only son of Bob Marley and his table tennis champion wife Anita Belnavis.
